Most of collage and school have blocked social media site from accessing them throught your collage and school computer. There are many methods availabe on the internet for access blocked wesite but today we are use command prompt method. In these method ping the blocked wesite to get original IP address and we can easily access this blocked website using this IP address. For access blocked site just follow below step by step process and access the bloced site in your collage or school
  • First Run the command prompt with admin.
  • Type command "ping" and type the website name you want to access. For example : myknowledgeidea.com do not use www. or http// or https:// in front of site name.
  • After that press enter button and you will get IP address in form of 0000.00.000.0000
  • Copy this IP address and past in your web browser and press enter.
  • You full access this website in your collage or school.

Know if someone is hacking your computer

Open command prompt and run the "netstat -a" command, it will show you a list of computers that connected to. You will find the Local address column giving information on the port with which your computer is connected to an external computer and Protocolumn giving details on the type of data transmission. In addition to this, you will also notice ‘State’ providing you information on the state of the connection. It will be easier for you to find or trace if someone is hacking your computer or connected to your computer or not.

  • First step to open your browser and visit http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or the default IP address for your broadband.

  • Now click on sharing option and check the box Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection and select the network connection name that is used by your hotspot 
  • And hit on the ok button to save the settings and close the properties.
  • Now go to Network and Sharing Center in Control Panel and you will see your created Wi-Fi connection in active networks section.
  • If you don't want to enter the line ” netsh wlan start hostednetwork” for start the WiFi hotspot you can create a batch file (.bat) to start or stop wifi hostop in one click. If you try to run batch file (.bat) Windows will show a security warning as the file has .bat extension. You can ignore the warning as the file to use.

Change Command Prompt Color

Compare Two Files

You can easily compare two files in command prompt and see what the difference between them. The results is not good as comapre to third party available file comparison tools. For compare two files just type “FC” command and then write directories of both text files. For example, you type “fc C:\user\sample1.txt C:\user\sample2.txt” and press enter to get comparison of both files. If both files have same content the command will return this message ‘no difference encountered’. And If both files have different content then this command will show the different content.

Create Undeletable Folder

In windows operating system you cannot folder with pre definded keywords like aux, CON, lp1, lp2, lp3, lp4, lp5, lp6, lp7, lp8, lp9. For create undeletable folder just type following command.
MD "E:\CON\"
For delete this folder replace MD with RD.
RD "E:\CON\"

For example to chek IP address of MyKnowledgeIdea site type “nslookup www.myknowledgeidea.com” to find IP address.

Quick Edit Mode 

You can quickly copy and past text using quick edit mode in command prompt with just right click on cmd. For enable Quick Edit Mode just right click on the top of the Command Prompt where exit button is located and choose “Properties” option. In properties option check the checkbox next to “Quick Edit Mode” to enable. In Quick Edit mode you can highlight text and right click to copy and right-click in a blank area to paste text from clipboard.

Cycle Through Folders

Specifying exact directorie can be very frustrating task if you do not have the destination copied. If you just know in which drive the required folder is available then you cycle through all folders to reach it. To do just type drive and start press TAB key to cycle through all the folders.

Execute Multiple Commands

For execute more than one command at once you can easily execute one command after second command by putting '&&' between all commands. For example, you can type “dir && ipconfig” to execute both commands.
